Aprašymas

Ivan Sorensen, author of the widely praised 5 Men in Normandy and 5 Parsecs from Home gaming systems, has turned his attention to the First World War. The focus is at the lowest level, with each force consisting of just a handful of men trying to survive while doing their duty and hoping for eventual victory (or a 'Blighty wound' to send them home with honour). The rules are simple and easy to learn, giving fast-paced and engaging games. These can be played either as one-off games or as part of the campaign system. The members of your little force can gain experience, skills and traits from one game to the next...if they survive. Some might be invalided home and replaced with rooky recruits. This gives each game greater significance as you try to balance the success of the mission against the long-term survival of your pals. A number of scenarios are provided and there is also a random scenario generator to ensure a huge variety of missions. This, along with an optional random force-generation system, means you can replay many times and remain sure of a fresh game. And don't worry if you don't have (or want) an opponent to play against: the rules are designed equally for multi-player or solo play.
